Terms & Conditions of Service

Last updated:  June 2026

Welcome to Invictus Pelvic Health. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the physiotherapy and wellness services we provide at our Brinkworth and Cirencester clinics. By browsing this website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use our website or services.

Website use

The content of this website is for your general information and use only and is subject to change without notice.

  • The information on this website does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for a personal consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

  • We make no warranty that the website, or any information on it, is accurate, complete, current or free from error.

  • Your use of any information on this website is entirely at your own risk, and we accept no liability for any loss arising from such use.

  • This website may include links to third-party sites. These are provided for convenience only and we have no responsibility for their content.

Medical disclaimer

Any guidance, exercises or educational material shared on this website or during your care is general in nature unless prescribed specifically for you by your treating clinician. You should always consult your GP or treating clinician before beginning any new exercise programme, particularly during pregnancy, after surgery, or if you have an existing medical condition.

In an emergency, or if your symptoms worsen suddenly, you should contact your GP, NHS 111, or the emergency services rather than waiting for an appointment with us.

Appointments and bookings

Appointments can be booked online, by phone or by email. A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us. By making a booking you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and complete.

Your first appointment is a thorough, confidential assessment. Because pelvic health assessment may involve an internal (vaginal or rectal) examination, this will always be fully explained to you beforehand and carried out only with your informed consent. You may decline any part of an examination at any time.

Fees and payment

Our current fees are set out at the time of booking. [State accepted payment methods and when payment is due — e.g. at the time of the appointment]. We reserve the right to amend our fees from time to time; the fee applicable will be the one quoted to you at the point of booking.

Cancellations and missed appointments

We ask that you give us at least [24 / 48] hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, so that we can offer the time to another patient.

  • Cancellations made with less than [24 / 48] hours' notice may be charged at [full / 50% of the] appointment fee.

  • Missed appointments where no notice is given may be charged in full.

  • We understand that emergencies happen — please contact us as soon as you can and we will deal with your situation sympathetically.

Chaperones and your comfort

You are welcome to have a chaperone present during any appointment, including any examination. If you would like a chaperone provided by the clinic, please let us know in advance so we can arrange this. Your dignity, privacy and comfort are central to everything we do.

Confidentiality and data protection

All treatment and personal information is kept strictly confidential. We process your personal and health data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details of how we collect, use and store your data are set out in our [Privacy Policy — insert link].

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, the Invictus name and branding, and any downloadable materials — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or republish any of it without our prior written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services.

Complaints

We hope you will always be happy with your care. If you have any concerns, please raise them with us directly so we can put things right — you can contact us using the details below. Our full complaints procedure is available on request.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you use it or make a booking is the version that applies. We recommend you review this page periodically.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
