Your Journey with Invictus
At Invictus, we focus on you as an individual. We take the time to properly talk through your birth experience and any challenges you're facing postnatally — nothing is assumed, nothing is rushed.

From there, we assess and talk through your personal goals, whatever they are for you — returning to running, leaping around the netball court, or simply being able to walk with your baby pain-free.
can also build a bespoke postnatal programme to help you reconnect with and regain confidence in your body, returning to exercise in a pelvic-safe way — integrating hypopressive exercise as part of your recovery toolbox where appropriate.

What to expect
Your Postnatal MOT Journey
1
Initial Appointment — Your Foundation Session
Time to share your birth story and any challenges you've had with recovery. If appropriate, a thorough assessment of movement, diastasis and pelvic floor. This is where your personalised recovery plan begins.
2
Follow-Up 1 (2–4 weeks after your MOT)
Reviewing how you responded to your first session's assessment and home programme, with any further hands-on assessment needed. We start to integrate movement with breathwork and core recovery, plus soft tissue work on scars, abdominals and any other areas contributing to your ongoing recovery.
3
Follow-Up 2 Reassessing progress and modifying your plan as needed.
We introduce dynamic movement for key areas of the body — posture, graded strength work, and targeted soft tissue treatment for any ongoing symptoms.
4
Follow-Up 3 Your final assessment, including higher-level or return-to-sport exercises if appropriate, and building a maintenance plan you can take forward confidently on your own.

A confidential, unhurried approach — no rushing, no judgement
"Nicky treated me throughout my pregnancy and was absolutely brilliant. I was given exercises to complete which were easy to follow. Nicky is very accommodating, caring, compassionate, professional and very knowledgeable. I also saw Nicky when I was postpartum and she completed a thorough pelvic assessment and advised me on what exercises to follow. I would definitely recommend her and will be seeing her in the future if any issues arise."
