All About Invictus Pelvic Health
With 25 years of experience, in many roles and specialities including private practice, private hospitals and the NHS, I now specialise in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for Women, Men and Teens.
I set up Invictus Pelvic Health a bespoke Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service at Brinkworth House in Wiltshire and at the Ashcroft Practice in Cirencester, Gloucestershire serving Women's Health and Men's health physiotherapy in the surrounding areas including Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Tetbury as well as Malmesbury, Chippenham, Royal Wootten Bassett and Swindon.

My journey in Pelvic Health like many others started out treating the pre and postnatal population I immediately became inspired by Women's Health as a person centred approach. I did my first POGP course in 2012 in Bristol with leading UK physios and started working to see pelvic patients. There followed a Bowel course with the amazing Julia Herbert, learning early on that the majority of Pelvic patients have concomitant bowel dysfunction.I was interested in hypopressive exercise and studied the Level 2 hypopressives instructor course with the International Hypopressives Council through the wonderful Abby Maydew and am delighted to see the research accompanying this method is bringing it to the forefront of pelvic health treatment. It can feel like magic to some patients, particularly those with prolapse. I was lucky enough to do the inperson Jilly Bond's Happy Bladder course in December 2022, becoming one of her Bladder Heroes.

I trained in Men's Pelvic Health with Michelle Lyons in Bath several years ago and am working my way through Nutrition for Pelvic Pain dysfunction with Jessica Drummond and Hormone health with Michelle Lyons. I have also studied under Rosie Daniels in Health Creation Mentoring which is a health coaching course to promote well being and support people with a diagnosis of, or recovering from cancer. This has been an invaluable tool in my treatment and practice as a Health Coach.

I trained in Pilates through the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) and have practised pilates since 2008! I run classes in Pool Keynes, Cirencester and also in Tetbury at St Michaels Hall and a regular class in Malmesbury with the Courtyard Clinic.

I am part of the team at Holistic Core Restore (R) with the amazing Jenny Burrell and have started offering the Everywoman programme and will be offering MenoWellness soon. My areas include Tetbury, Stroud, Dursley, Cirencester, Malmesbury and Chippenham.

I am truly passionate about pelvic health and treat Women in all stages of life from Teens, through pre and postnatal MOT, to perimenopause and menopause, Men with Pelvic pain and pre and post prostatectomy and teenagers with Pelvic Health issues such as giggle incontinence, overactive pelvic floor and constipation.
