More about Nicki Travlos and Invictus

Once I started out the journey in Pelvic Health treating pre and postnatal Women, I was immediately inspired by Women's Health as a person centred approach. Training in Bristol, through the POGP certification course with leading UK physios, was quickly followed by learning all about bowels with the amazing Julia Herbert.

I love being part of the team at Holistic Core Restore (R) with the amazing Jenny Burrell and offer the Everywoman programme and MenoWellness. My areas include Tetbury, Stroud, Dursley, Cirencester, Malmesbury and Chippenham. I enjoy keeping my fellow coaches updated in pelvic health through online training.

I worked in the NHS for several years firstly at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon and later at the Churchill part of Oxford University Hospitals and it was a privilege to work alongside the Pelvic Physiotherapy teams, Urogynae and Colorectal teams all of whom were inspirational in their dedication to their work and were extremely patient and helpful with my mentoring especially with challenging cases. It was here that I managed a large case load of Women's and Men's health with a caseload of LUTS, prolapse, pelvic pain, constipation, obstructive defaecation, pre and post natal care and breast cancer care.

I was lucky enough to train under Willie Fourie to treat post mastectomy patients. Sadly Willie was tragically killed in South Africa in an RTA, but his methods live on in those of us he trained.
I discovered the benefits of hypopressive exercise whilst studying the yoga Bhanda's and studied to be Level 1 and 2 hypopressives coach with the International Hypopressives Council through the wonderful Abby Maydew and am delighted to see the research accompanying this method is bringing it to the forefront of pelvic health treatment. It can feel like magic to some patients, particularly those with prolapse. I was lucky enough to do the inperson Jilly Bond's Happy Bladder course in December 2022, becoming one of her Bladder Heroes.

I trained in Men's Pelvic Health with Michelle Lyons in Bath several years ago and am working my way through Nutrition for Pelvic Pain dysfunction with Jessica Drummond and Hormone health with Michelle Lyons. I have also studied under Rosie Daniels in Health Creation Mentoring which is a health coaching course to promote well being and support people with a diagnosis of, or recovering from cancer. This has been an invaluable tool in my treatment and practice as a Health Coach.

I trained in Pilates through the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) and have practised pilates since 2008! I run classes in Malmesbury through the Courtyard Clinic, and also in Coates, Nr Cirencester.
