Undergoing hysterectomy is a huge decision for a woman and is usually done in consultation with her multidisciplinary team, GP and Gynaecologist and often after years of debilitating symptoms. As Pelvic physios we have a vital role to play in preparation for surgery, so unless yours is being done as urgent and you cant get to see us on time, please please please book in to see us presurgery. We will also support you post surgery and with ongoing recovery and rehabilitation.
