Late Effects Clinic

As a cancer survivor, you can feel very vulnerable and may already have been through a lot of pain, treatment and intimate examinations, we want you to feel reassured, comfortable and understood.  We are here to help you to understand what is happening in your body and above all to find a way forward to manage this condition and to manage and maintain a full and active life now and in the future.

Our Late Effects Clinic is  specialist pelvic health physiotherapy for women living with the effects of gynaecological cancer treatment—including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy—and for women with vulval skin conditions such as lichen sclerosus.

There is very little support out there for women who have been through gynaecological cancer and as a Specialist Women's Health Pelvic Physio who treats women with late effects, Nina is in a unique position to offer her time and expertise to help you to navigate your treatment options and help you to make the right choices for you along the way, together with your team of specialists such as GPs, Vulval specialists and Gynaecologists. Physiotherapy can help address the associated bladder, bowel and pelvic floor symptoms while working alongside your medical management. We  want you  to feel supported through your journey and to guide your recovery.
